Since I went as far as I could go on the West Fond du Lac River, I went to the East side and tried that out tonight. I could have gone further but I was running out of time. Next time I will try to make more time to really see how far I can go. Once I got up the river where I was in town more, I had to deal with a lot of shallow areas and I think I figured out which side to paddle next time. The East side of the river seems to be the deepest most of the way up so that would be the side to try to stick with.
